Trees is a short film created for the 2003 Seattle International Film Festival Fly Filmmaking Challenge.  SIFF invited 10 filmmakers to create a five minute film, allowing each filmmaker

5 days to shoot and 5 days to edit.  Topics were assigned by SIFF;

the filmmakers drew words written on slips of paper.
