Betwixt & Between is about being between worlds and about discombobulated identity. It’s about wanting to remain wrapped in the protection of childhood and wanting to break out — about wanting to be seen and being afraid of being seen. It’s a phenomenological close-up of adolescence and the havoc it can wreak but also about the many times in life I have felt uncertain, uneasy and in between.
